The International College of Siam University (ICOSIAM) marked the conclusion of the 2025 academic year today with a vibrant celebration of culture, academic achievement, and institutional growth. The event, which combined the final faculty meeting with a festive year-end party, was attended by the President of Siam University, senior management, and the Dean of the College.

A Global Potluck and Gift Exchange
The day’s festivities centered around a multicultural potluck, where lecturers from Thailand, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Iran, and Myanmar shared traditional dishes from their home countries. This culinary exchange highlighted the diverse expertise and heritage that define the ICOSIAM faculty. Following the meal, staff participated in a spirited gift exchange, further strengthening the bonds within the international academic community.

Honoring Academic and Leadership Excellence
The President and Dean took the opportunity to recognize several key milestones for both students and faculty:

Scholarship Awards: The President officially handed over certificates and 5,000 THB scholarship vouchers to the Siam Ambassadors 2025, rewarding their dedication to representing the university.

Doctoral Success: The college extended a special congratulations to Dr. Somsak Nontaganok, an ICOSIAM lecturer who recently earned his Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT).

Birthday Milestones: In a personal touch, the Dean presented gifts to Prof. Sanjeewanie and Ms. Sivaporn to celebrate their birthdays, falling on December 24th and December 8th, respectively.

Celebrating Institutional Growth
A major highlight of the event was a formal cake-cutting ceremony led by the University President. This gesture was dedicated to the continued expansion and success of ICOSIAM, symbolizing the college’s rising reputation as a hub for international education in the region.

The Dean expressed sincere gratitude to all staff and lecturers for their hard work throughout the year and requested their continued support to reach new heights in 2026.

“Today was not just about closing the year; it was about celebrating the people—the faculty and students—who drive the growth of our international community,” said the President during the closing remarks.

As 2025 comes to an end, ICOSIAM heads into the new year with a strengthened sense of unity and academic pride.
