Course code: 117-402

Advanced English is designed for learners who already handle everyday communication and now want academic and professional fluency. Classes are discussion-based: you will debate global issues, deliver persuasive presentations and write analytical essays.

By the end of the course you will:

  • Speak for 10 minutes on an unfamiliar topic with minimal hesitation (B2+ CEFR).
  • Write 300-word essays using referencing, hedging and concession.
  • Understand extended lectures without subtitles.
  • Edit your own writing for grammar, cohesion and academic tone.

Assessment: in-class presentations (25%), group debate (15%), process-writing folder (30%) and final academic panel (30%).

Entry requirement: CEFR B1 certificate or a score ≥ 70/100 in our placement test.
